In 2023, our hearts led us to the House of Hope in Davao City, a place that shelters and supports children bravely fighting cancer. These young warriors face unimaginable challenges every day, yet they continue to radiate strength and joy that deeply inspired us.

During our visit, we learned about the realities many of these children and their families face. Some of the kids stay alone at the facility because they live 6–8 hours away from home — and the travel costs are simply too heavy for their families.

Others remain at the center as outpatients, not because they’ve fully recovered, but because there isn’t enough space to accommodate everyone in need. The youngest children even share beds, finding comfort and friendship in each other’s company as they rest and heal.

Witnessing their stories moved us deeply. It reminded us that behind every smile is a story of courage, sacrifice, and hope. Through simple acts — sharing food, creating art, or just listening — we hoped to give them a day filled with laughter and encouragement. We wanted them to feel seen, supported, and reminded that their bravery doesn’t go unnoticed.

This outreach was not just about giving — it was about learning. We left the House of Hope with full hearts and renewed purpose. The resilience of these children and their families reminded us why our yearly outreach matters — because kindness, no matter how small, can change a life.

As we look forward to our next community project, we carry with us the faces and stories of these children — and a stronger commitment to spreading hope wherever it’s needed most.
